RBI DBIE report 762 (data provider DP0), read from the local Data Bank mirror, as published. One display unit kept (ACTUALS). Amounts in ₹ crore. Counts of sick and weak units are stored in the mirror multiplied by 10 million (85,187 sick small units in March 2008 as 851,870,000,000, the RBI's printed count once divided back); the counts of all small units and of their workers are stored as plain numbers although the labels say millions, and are kept as numbers; exports are in US$ million; production per employee in rupees.
Revisions: Section 42 figures are provisional, then final; sectoral credit is provisional and revised the next month; NPAs and capital ratios are final on release. Seams disclosed, never joined: the 2019 sectoral classification, the July 2023 HDFC merger, the December 2025 reporting calendar.
